Where to find the best vegan food in Nusa Dua, Bali
Bali is basically vegan heaven but for some reason, Nusa Dua seems like a vegan desert. That is mostly because Nusa Dua is primarily made up of resorts where people rarely leave the comfort of the expansive resort grounds so that is where a lot of the vegan food in Nusa Dua is.
What you’ll find here
If you’re a vegan and have exhausted the hotel buffet, I’ve put together a list of my favourite vegan spots in Nusa Dua, Bali. These are all places I have personally been to during my three visits to Nusa Dua. If you’re looking for more vegan travels or Bali travel I have lots of helpful guides for that too!
vegan restaurants and cafes in Nusa Dua, Bali
Paon Bali Resto & Bar
Paon Bali Resto and Bar is great for vegans and non-vegans as they have a range of different Balinese food. This is some of the best vegan food in Nusa Dua because everything is clearly labelled but you can also ask the staff and they’ll recommend you the best vegan options!
Recommended For: Balinese style dinner

Starbucks at Bali Collection
Yeah, I know Starbucks isn’t exactly the height of sophistication, but sometimes you just need a vegan snack and familiar drink you know isn’t laced with dairy. Personally I love trying chain stores and seeing what different options they have overseas. Bali has a range of vegan snacks like a vegan vsh (fish) sandwich and a blueberry cheesecake parfait. Both of which I’ve never seen anywhere else!
Recommended For: Coffee and afternoon tea
Location: SOGO Department Store Bali Collection, Nusa Dua

Secret Cafe Nusa Dua
Secret Cafe has a range of vegan options as well as gluten free etc. It is more of a healthy vibe option so if you’re looking for an alternative to your buffet breakfast this might be a good pick!

VERDICT
Is Nusa dua good for vegans?
Nusa Dua, Bali is not the best part of Bali for vegan food. There is far less options than in Seminyak or Canggu for vegans but that doesn’t mean you will have to starve. If you’re staying in Nusa Dua, the best option is to utilise the resort restaurants (especially buffet breakfast!) as they’ll more likely be catered to a range of dietary lifestyles.
